¶3 Bodycount's in the house!!!
¶2The heavy metal band that guested
Ice-T's Original Gangster CD are now
back with a complete CD. The CD is
produced by Ice-T and the guitarist
Ernie C. Ice-T is also the vocalist
on the CD. It starts with a cut where
Ice-T starts arguing with a
policeoffiser, and shoots him down.
The goverment and the police are given
very hard critisism on some of the
cuts, especially on the title song
Bodycount. ("¶1The world's insane while
you drink champagne and I'm living in
black rain¶2") Also on "Cop Killer",wich
isn't featured on later versions of
the CD, the police is given many
punches in the face. Probably too
much for the gouverment to swallow, so
they censored "Cop Killer". As on all
Ice-T products racists and nazis are
critisized a lot, especially on the
song "Momma's gotta die tonight" where
he describes how he kills his own
mother when he finds out that she is a
rasist. Imagine what he had done to
one of these ¶3neo-nazis!
¶2The music on the CD is something
between speed, trash, and heavy metal.
For metal-fans that doesn't like rap,
I can say that even if Ice-T is a
rapper the CD doesn't sound much like
pure rap. This is straight hardcore
metal that sometimes is much better
than the average metal bands. If you
like Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeath,
Ice-T, NWA, or even Public Enemy this
CD obviously is something for you.
It's out on Warner, and it should be
easy to get a grip on.
Verdict:¶39¶2/10
